Overview

Earnwidth pays you for bandwidth you are not using. Keep the Earn page open in a browser tab and it moves test traffic through your connection. Every gigabyte that arrives intact is credited to your balance, and once you reach $5.00 you can cash out in a tokenized stock on Solana.

There is nothing to install. It runs in the browser you already have, it stops the moment you close the tab, and it never touches the files on your device.

How it works

1. You connect a Solana wallet and sign a short message. Signing proves you own the wallet. It does not move any funds or approve any transaction.
2. When you press Start, your browser downloads and uploads blocks of data in 4 MB chunks, one stream in each direction.
3. Every download chunk is unique and unguessable. Your browser hashes what it received and sends the hash back, and we only credit the chunk if the hash matches, so a chunk only counts if every byte actually arrived.
4. Uploads are counted by our server as they arrive, so only data that really reached us is credited.
5. Your balance updates after every chunk. The Earn page shows what you have shared today, this session, and in total since your last payout.

The data itself is random. It is not a file, it is not stored anywhere, and it is not shared with anyone else. We do not route other people's traffic through your connection and we do not use torrents.

Rates and limits

The rate is small on purpose. Earnwidth is a launch project, not a job.

Getting paid

When your unpaid balance reaches $5.00, pick a stock on the Earn page and press Cash out. Your whole unpaid balance is converted at the current market price and sent from the Earnwidth treasury to the wallet you signed in with.

• Payouts usually land in a few seconds. If the network is slow, the Earn page shows the payout as on its way and updates once it is confirmed.
• If a payout fails, the full amount goes back to your balance. You never lose earnings to a failed transaction.
• If the treasury is low on the stock you picked, that stock is paused for a while. Your balance is kept, and you can pick a different stock.
• Only one payout can be in flight per wallet at a time.

Payout stocks

Payouts are made in xStocks, tokenized shares issued by Backed Finance on Solana. Each one tracks the price of the underlying stock and sits in your wallet like any other token.

Tokenized stocks are not available in every country. Check that you are allowed to hold them where you live before you cash out.

Wallets

The Earn page lists every Solana wallet installed in your browser, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, and lets you pick one. It remembers your choice and reconnects quietly next time, without a popup. If you have no wallet yet, the page links you to a list of wallets you can install.

We never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is not Earnwidth.

Your connection

• Sharing only runs while the Earn tab is open and you have pressed Start. Press Stop or close the tab and it ends right away.
• There is no daily limit. Sharing uses real traffic in both directions, so it counts against your plan the same way a download or a video call does.
• If your plan has a data cap, keep an eye on it. Some providers do not allow sharing or reselling bandwidth, so check yours before you start.
• A mobile hotspot counts against your mobile data. We suggest Wi-Fi or a wired connection.

FAQ

Why is the rate so low?

Because Earnwidth does not resell your bandwidth. The payouts come from our launch budget, so they are kept small so the program can run for everyone.

Can I run it on several devices?

Yes. Every tab that is sharing adds its own traffic, and it all counts toward the same wallet.

Does it slow down my internet?

It uses spare capacity, and each stream moves one chunk at a time. On a slow connection you may notice it during video calls, so press Stop while you need the full line.

Can I use scripts or bots?

No. Earnings from scripts, bots or traffic that did not really cross a connection are withheld, and the wallets involved are blocked.

What happens to my balance if I stop for a while?

Nothing. Your balance stays on your wallet until you cash out.

Privacy

This section explains what Earnwidth collects and why.

• Your Solana wallet address, which you share when you sign in.
• Usage records: how many bytes you shared, on which day, and your balance.
• Payout records: the amount, the stock you chose and the transaction signature.
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and request times, used for security and to keep the service running.

We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and we do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that run the service, such as hosting, database and Solana RPC providers, or when the law requires it.

Payouts are public Solana transactions. Your wallet address, the amount and the transaction can be seen by anyone on the blockchain, and we cannot change or delete them.

We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser stores the name of the wallet you picked plus your display settings. We do not use advertising cookies. Short lived traffic receipts are deleted within an hour. Requests about your data must come from the same wallet, since your address is all we know about you.

Terms

By connecting a wallet or sharing bandwidth, you agree to these terms.

1. You must be at least 18 and allowed to use the service and hold the payout assets where you live.
2. Only share a connection you are allowed to use this way. Charges from your provider are your responsibility.
3. Rates, limits and the list of payout stocks can change at any time. Changes apply from the moment they are posted here.
4. Payouts depend on treasury availability and may be paused. Balances are kept while payouts are paused.
5. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Make sure you control the wallet you sign in with.
6. xStocks are issued by a third party and their value can go down as well as up. Nothing on Earnwidth is financial, investment or tax advice, and any taxes on what you receive are yours.
7. Scripts, bots, or tampering with the traffic are not allowed. Balances earned that way can be withheld.
8. The service is provided as is, with no promise that it will always be available or that you will earn any particular amount. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to your unpaid balance.
9. If we stop the service, we will give reasonable notice so balances above the minimum can be claimed.
